After forty years serving generations of families, Gabriele understands design and proper fit. He has studied the details and innuendos of body proportion, anatomy and posture and now shares his expertise at seminars for members of the clothing industry. He melds this expertise with personal attention and creates a unique shopping experience at his Newtown Square store, He is the consummate fitter, always involved "hands on" with each and every garment tailored – just for you.

Gabriele understands that there is nothing that compares to custom made clothing. Owning excellently crafted clothing that presents the unique "you" ensures that quiet confidence that comes from knowing that there is no one in the room better dressed.

Born in Abruzzo, Italy, Gabriele is the son of a master tailor and professional seamstress. The family raised and sold silkworms to the Italian fabric manufacturers. Immigrating to America, Gabriele learned custom fitting as a teenage apprentice to his father who was employed at a large Broad Street clothing manufacturer.

Forty two years ago, D& B Tailors in Newtown Square was opened and in many families has served four generations with expert tailoring and personal high couture fashion creations. He is the man they seek when it comes to designing or altering wedding or evening, suits or fashion couture for many special occasions.

Not only have your neighbors have confidence in Gabriele. Frank Sinatra, Frankie Avalon, Mike Schmidt, George Burns and many Fortune 500 executives chose Gabriele as their custom tailor.

For many years, Jay Wright, Villanova University Wildcats Coach has valued Gabriele's friendship and expertise… and now his championship team enjoys personally tailored sports jackets.

In addition to custom clothing and expert tailoring, D & B Tailor has tailored shirts made from fine Sea Island and Egyptian cotton and now offers beautiful Italian custom made men's and women's shoes and handbags. More info needed...
